No-Watch is the brand by a company that makes watches for other watch brands and private parties that need a specific watch in larger volume. A few years ago they decided to start their own watch brand, which is No-Watch. They offer well made, quartz-powered watches in classic designs with a twist. An unusual name for an unusual watch, was the original Triggerfish by Kaventsmann already a bold statement, the new version of this watch actually goes beyond what the threshold established by its predecessor. When reviewing the Triggerfish II it is important to take into account that Kaventsmann is a German company, and that in essence, the watch is a German watch. Yes, its powered by a Swiss-made, automatic ETA 2824-2, or Sellitta SW-200 when the ETA stock runs out, but they are made in Berlin, Germany. Black-Out Concept is of course best known for its modifications on Rolex, but few people know that they also sell a more affordable alternative of the same concept. These Black-Out watches share many of the same features as their pricey siblings, except of course, their price. One of our favorites is the Barakuda. Not only because its named after one of the fiercest fish in the ocean, but also because its quite an impressive watch. Yes, we admit it, the new ProMare Chronograph by Mühle-Glashütte is pushing the limits of Watchisthis?! highest price barrier, but we decided to include it as an exception to our rule. Why? Because of what it has to offer, and it might be worth for some watch connoisseurs to save up to get this watch. The ProMare is a nice all rounder. The watch world was shaking, as yesterday Citizen announced that they where taking over Frederique Constant. It is always a touchy subject when a Swiss company is being taken over by a "foreign entity", especially when its coming from Japan. It might help that Peter and Aletta Stas, the founders of Frederique Constant, are not Swiss by birth but Dutch, and spend a long time in Asia. Ferro Watches: Displaying Time 911 Tachometer Style!

At time of publishing there is just about 2 days left to get your Ferro watch through Kickstarter. The question is; should you? With its single hand configuration its original, but at the same time, this has been done before. What makes it unique is that it combines this single hand configuration with a dial inspired by Porsche tachometers. The result is quite stunning.
